The Windsor Corporate Challenge is back for its 10th year, and Champion Products is proud to be a participant in the fundraiser, which supports the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation.
Coined a “FUN-raiser,” by the organizers, the challenge is an obstacle course style event that takes place outdoors at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex on Saturday, September 10th, 2022. It has become one of the largest corporate events in Windsor-Essex County, and since its inception it has raised more than 1 million dollars for local charities.
Over 50 corporate teams will be competing against each other for the best overall score, team spirit award, and top fundraiser for both individuals and teams, which will be announced during the closing ceremony. The event will test the cognitive and physical skills of participants in a series of timed activities and games, while encouraging wellness and team-building among colleagues.
Teams of 5-8 colleagues can register for the event and choose whether they want to participate in a morning or afternoon session. Each team is required to raise a minimum of $1,000.00 or more which will go to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation in honor of all those affected by a cancer diagnosis in Windsor-Essex County. All net funds raised this year will go towards enhancing the patient experience as well as fund local cancer research.
